Sensory educational stories
Bespoke sensory story pieces designed to make stories more engaging, tactile and personal. Different textures, colours and shapes can be used to stimulate the senses and help bring a story to life.
Each piece can be made individually around the person using it. Fabrics, colours and familiar materials can be chosen because they have a particular meaning or appeal to them. The pieces can support an existing story, encourage interaction and help people use their imagination to create stories of their own.
Every project can be discussed with Shell and adapted around individual interests, sensory preferences and the way the piece will be used.
